Madrasah waiting lists
Places for our children are allocated first-come, first-served because the classrooms are full.
Space for our sisters
The sisters' hall and programmes deserve dedicated, purpose-built facilities of their own.
A masjid that serves every generation of our community — in prayer, in learning and in service to Kingston.
Early design concepts were presented to members at the 2026 AGM. Explore an illustrative layout below — the architect's drawings will appear here as the design develops.

Today we share the vision for the expansion of Kingston Mosque with our community. Explore the plans, see the phases, and be part of it from day one — every update on fundraising, planning and construction will be published here.
Alhamdulillah, our community has grown far beyond what the building was designed for. The mosque is regularly at capacity for Jumu'ah and Eid, the Madrasah allocates places on a waiting list, and our sisters', youth and community programmes need more space than we have. Expansion is how we serve the next generation the way this building has served us since 1979.
The figures shown on this page are working figures while the design and planning work is completed. The confirmed target, and how it breaks down across the phases, will be published here as soon as it is finalised.
By bank transfer to the mosque's account using the reference shown in the Ways to Give section, in person at the mosque, or through the online giving page when it is live. You can also make a pledge and pay in your own time — the team will follow up with you.
Building a masjid is one of the most beloved forms of ongoing charity — its reward continues for as long as people pray, learn and benefit there. Speak to our Imams for guidance about your own intentions, including Zakat questions.
The Kingston Muslim Association is a registered charity (no. 274503) and all expansion funds are held and governed by the charity under its trustees, with fundraising progress published on this page.
Yes — we welcome business and corporate sponsorship of the project. Use the sponsor form on this page and the team will contact you about the options.
All funds raised for the expansion are restricted to the project under the charity's governance. Should circumstances change, the trustees will inform the community here about how funds will be applied to the mosque's charitable purposes.
Every milestone — fundraising, planning and construction — is posted in the Updates section of this page, with major news shared through the mosque's announcements, Friday khutbahs and social channels.
Every gift and every hour of service is part of the masjid our children and grandchildren will pray in.
